Hi! I’m Jenny – Naturopath Extraordinaire, Wifey & Mother of 3 delightful young people.

I am very passionate about supporting fellow Mum’s to be the best you can be as well as helping with your children’s health & nutrition.  I see transformations happen every day for Mum’s who are struggling with overwhelm and stress providing them with some fabulous natural solutions to modern day living and being the healthiest and happiest Mumma you possibly can be.  It is also an absolute honour to help you with your children’s health using nutritional advice, botanical herbs and essences –  as natural as possible.  Nature can provide some wonderful healing (sometimes you just need to know which type of nature to use!).

As mentioned, I have 3 young children and in my spare time when I am not studying I am usually found baking for my family – trying to convert traditional recipes into wholesome nutritious delights they will love (50/50 strike rate and I promise you I will be sharing the winning recipes!), as well as spending time on my continuing education on seminars that I compulsively sign up for in my thirst for knowledge and clinical wisdom.  I am currently enrolled in my Masters of Counselling at Queensland University of Technology supporting my passion for helping people at every level so if you are looking for a safe space to talk about your life for lifestyle support and coaching, I can help you with holistic counselling sessions.

My life experience has taught me that to be well with good health and vitality and to be the best parent we can be, we need a balance of good nutrition, activity and a nurturing, supportive environment to flourish.  For our children, they also need the awesome nutrition, movement and to feel safe for them to learn and explore. Kid’s are amazing and when they can attain balance in mind, body and spirit they are unstoppable!

I am here to help you find your balance – be the best parent you can be and enjoy family balance and harmony.

 What is Naturopathy?

Naturopathy is a holistic approach to wellness based on the principle that the body has the inherent ability to heal itself. Using the healing power of nature and gentle therapeutic techniques, the body, mind and emotions are supported during the healing process.

Naturopathic principles are based on treating each person as an individual and treating the whole person, not just the affected area.

Naturopathy encompasses a variety of treatment methods including:

  • Herbal Medicine to help prevent and treat various illnesses
  • Dietary and Nutritional advice for restoration of balance, detoxification and prevention of disease
  • Lifestyle advice to promote well-being and to reduce stress
  • Flower essences to enhance the emotional aspect of healing
  • The use of compresses and packs to stimulate organ function and to reduce pain
  • Soft tissue manipulation to re-balance the body’s systems, to reduce pain and to enable detoxification
  • Homoeopathy

Naturopathy can alleviate a wide range of conditions and is suitable for all ages.  Some of the more common conditions that may benefit from treatment include fatigue, stress related ailments, digestive problems, PMT, hormonal imbalances, eating disorders and general aches and pains.  However, you do not need to be unwell to benefit from naturopathy.
